Taiwan has launched a new tourist bus service in Puli, Central Taiwan to facilitate independent travellers to tour some of the major tourist attractions easily.
There are currently 2 bus routes for tourists to choose from. Those taking ‘Buses on the Blue Line’ can visit a number of interesting leisure locations, including one of Taiwan’s most remarkable sights – the Chung Tai Chan Monastery – and the Puli Winery which is well-known for producing Shaohsing wine. ‘Buses on the Green Line’ on the other hand, will halt at Musheng Insect Museum, which is home to Taiwan’s largest species of living butterflies, as well as other popular attractions. The local government has developed a new bus service to cater to Puli’s increasing popularity for sightseeing.
