The Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) is in the process of promoting itself as a leisure destination to the Indian market in order to woo the families and wedding groups from India. MGTO recently organized its first Mini Mart (road show) in Mumbai and later in Delhi, to enable the Indian travel trade, Macau tourism and hospitality stakeholders to interact with each other.
Sammie Tam, Marketing Division, MGTO said, “We want Indian tourists to increase their nights stayed in Macau. This will help them experience various facets of the destination.”
Macau that boasts of top rated tourist spots like Senado Squares, A -Ma Temple, Guia Fortress, Coloane Village, Monte Fort, Kun lam and many others witnessed 107,513 Indian tourists last year.
