The total approximate revenue of Indian railways (IR) during June 11-20 is Rs 2385.28 crore compared to Rs 2288.15 crore during the same period last year, thus witnessing a growth of 4.24 per cent.
The total number of passengers booked during June 11-20 was 218.80 million compared to 214.18 million during the same period last year, registering an increase of 2.16 per cent. In the suburban and non-suburban sectors, the number of passengers booked during June 11-20 was 107.63 million and 101.36 million.
