InterGlobe Hotels that plans to develop a network of 25 ibis hotels with 3‚000 rooms across India over a period of 12 years is currently scouting for locations like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkotta, Noida, Chandigarh, Nagpur, Bhubaneshwar , Vadodara and Goa for its future properites. Further, 6 hotels are expected to be committed over the next 12-month period‚ and the venture has ambitions to add 4-6 ibis hotels to its portfolio every year going forward.
Ibis hotels that target both the domestic and international travelers are currently present in 2 Indian cities – Gurgaon (Ibis Gurgaon) and Pune (Ibis Hotel Pune). While Ibis Gurgaon‚ offers a total of 217 rooms with other features including free Internet access in all public areas, an exotic restaurant with outdoor area, late night dining, modern gymnasium and two well equipped meeting room among others, Ibis Hotel Pune which is just 5 minutes away from the Pune International airport boasts of 175 spacious rooms along with in-room facilities like flat screen TV, cable TV, mini bar, coffee maker among others.
