India’s hospitality chain, Gandhinagar Hotels has now entered into management tie-up agreement with reputable brand named "Fortune" a Subsidiary of ITC Limited (Welcome group). Fortune that manages more than 115 hotels shall assist in marketing and operating of Gandhinagar hotels in order to improve the occupancy levels.
Currently, Gandhinagar Hotels Limited (Fortune Inn Haveli) has got some big names in its long customer list like TCS, Air India, Spice Jet, Indian Airlines, Sahara, Gujarat Tourism, NGC, Essar among others. The company also has plans to go international by investing and setting up 2-3 hotels in the US. With the help of Fortune Hotels, Gandhinagar Hotels Ltd had previously launched ‘Fortune Inn Haveli’ in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The luxurious property offers a total of 84 rooms including 56 Standard Rooms, 14 Fortune Club Rooms and 14 Suites.
Besides hospitality projects, Gandhinagar hotels will be investing a total of Rs 100 crore for residential properties between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. "Apart from hospitality projects, we are also interested in constructing residential properties. We are negotiating land for a real estate project between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar,” said Vinod Joshi, chairman and managing director of Gandhinagar Hotels Limited.
