Day 2 Leh
Sightseeing tour of Leh city including the 17th century palace and gompa.
Leh - 3505 m above sea level, Leh is the capital of Ladakh with Zanskar River flowing through it and white snowcapped peaks surrounding it. The cold desert area has the ruined Tibetan style palace of Leh and can be said to be one of the Central Asia's most beautiful and panoramic city. Its Tibeto-Buddhist culture can clearly be seen in its colorful gompas and the lifestyle of the people. Some of the most beautiful treks and hikes in India can be found here. The other highlights of the region are Namgyal Tsemo Gompa and the Sankar monastery with its modern Tantric murals.
Day 3 & 4 Indus Valley
Sightseeing tour of the monasteries and palaces of the Indus valley.
Day 5 Lamayuru
Jeep safari to Lamayuru Gompa.
Lamayuru - About 125 km of Leh, Lamayuru is known for the oldest and splendidly set 10th century Lamayuru monastery. It is said that Lamayuru was once a lake, and its waters receded up the mountains to leave space for the monastery on blessings of a lama. However, it is in in ruins now and only its main hall with numerous tankhyas has survived the rigorous climate over such a long period. Lamayuru also has man-made caves carved out of the mountainside.

Day 6 Prinkiti
Trek from Lamayuru to Wanlan village with ancient gompa over Prinkiti la (3,725 m above sea level).
Day 7 Honupatta
Trek through remarkable gorge country to the village of Honupatta.
Day 8 Photoksar
Trek to Photoksar.
Day 9 Singge la
Trek to the Singge la north base camp.
Day 10 Singge la
Trek over the 5,100 m Singge la to south base camp.

Trek to Karsha, the largest monastery in the entire Zanskar valley.
Karsha - Home to 15th century Karsha monastery, the largest foundation of Geluks-pa with more than 100 resident Lamas, it offers excellent views of the steep mountainsides and the village of Karsha, 12 kms from Padum, in the valley of Zanskar. Looked after by the monks of Likir monastery, it is the biggest monastery. The Chamba Ling temple also found at Karsha dates back to 11th century.

Trek to Padum, crossing the Zanskar River on a remarkable bridge.
Day 17 Padum
Day free to relax in Padum.
Padum - Once the capital of Zanskar, Padum is situated at 3505 m above sea level. The most populous settlement of Zanskar, Padum has evlved as a major trekking base of the region. A set of ancient rock carving from 8th century, the Starrimo Monastery with about 30 resident monks, the nearby old village of Pibiting with a beautiful hilltop monastery built in stupa-style architecture and entertaining treks and hikes are the highlights of the place.
Day 18 Mune
Trek past the riverside palace of Bardan Gompa to Mune.
Day 19 Ichar
Continue along the banks of the Lungnak (Lingti) River to the hamlet of Ichar.
Day 20 Purni
Trek to Purni, where the Kargyak and Tsarap riversmerge to form Lingti Chu river.
Day 21 Phugtal Gompa
Trek to Phugtal Gompa.
Day 22 Tangtse
Trek to the village of Tangtse, at the base of the gorge leading to Phirtse La.
Day 23 Shingsaw
Trek to Shingsaw, the base camp for our pass crossing.
Day 24 Phirtse La
Early start to cross Phirtse la (5,350 m above sea level) to the vast nomad camp at Chumik Marpo.
Day 25 Serchu Serai
Trek to Serchu Serai, on the banks of the Yunan River.
Day 26 Kilang Serai
Trek to Kilang Sarai, where we meet the Manali to Leh military road.
Day 27 Keylong
Travel by jeep to Keylong, the capitol and administrative center of Lahaul.
Day 28 Manali
Continue by jeep over Rhotang Pass to Manali.
Day 29 Manali
Rest day in Manali.
Manali - Situated in the Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh, Manali is a beautiful hill resort with abundant places for sightseeing and opportunities for adventure sports like skiing, hiking, mountaineering, paragliding, rafting, trekking, kayaking, and mountain biking. At altitude of 2050 m above sea level, Manali has high snow covered mountains, deep boulder strewn gorges, thick forests, wild flowers, small hamlets and apple orchards. The highlights of the place are Hidimba or Dhungri Temple with its four-storeyed pagoda and exquisite wooden carvings, shiny gompas especially Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa, hand-woven carpets, Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa with colossal gold-faced Buddha and the Museum of Traditional Himachal Culture.
Day 30 Pinjore
Jeep Safari to Pinjore, stay in Palace Hotel there.
Day 31 Chandigarh
Jeep Safari to Chandigarh, from where you are transferred to Delhi via train. Transfer to hotel for overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 32 Delhi
Sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi.
Delhi - The capital of India, Delhi has been centre of political turmoil since 13th century. The day includes a visit to the Yogmaya Temple, the temple complex of Laxmi Narayan, the famous Chattarpur Temple and the Bahai Temple, also known as the Lotus Temple. Raj Ghat in Delhi, the cremation site of Mahatama Gandhi, Father Of India, is much like a sacred temple to every patriotic Indian heart too. Enjoy a bit of astrological predictions and findings in the evening at Old Delhi, after which you are free to do shopping and relax. Ride a cycle rickshaw through the crowded streets of the markets of Chandni Chowk Bazaar to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India in Old Delhi. In New Delhi, you can visit Dilli Haat, best place to look at Indian handicrafts and drive over the Rajpath, the site for Republic Day Parade of India to India Gate, a tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their nation. You can see the President's House from outside and visit the 16th century Humayun's Tomb, Safdarjung's Tomb and Qutub Minar.
Transfer to airport for flight to onward destination.
