Day 1 (Wednesday) Delhi
Departure of Royal Orient Train from Delhi Cantt in the evening.
Day 2 (Thursday) Chittaurgarh & Udaipur
Morning arrival at Chittaurgarh to visit Chittaurgarh Fort.
Transfer to Udaipur on air-conditioned luxury coaches.
Sightseeing tour of the city including City Palace, Lake Pichhola and
Lake Palace and visit to 'Shilpagrama' (the crafts village) and
Sahelion-Ki-Bari (the Royal Gardens).
Udaipur- Udaipur is rightly called the City of Lakes in with
Lake Pichola, Lake Fatehsagar and Lake Udai Sagar to boast of settled in
the lab of verdant green Aravali Hills. The grand City Palce,
Sahelion-Ki-Bari, Jagdish Temple and the museum of Bharatiya Lok Kala
Mandal are places worth visiting besides the most famous island palaces
of Lake Palace and Jag Mandir that are said to be the most romantic
places around the world.
Overnight transfer to Junagarh via Royal Orient Train.
Day 3 (Friday) Junagarh & Veraval
Sightseeing tour of the city including Ashokan Rock Edicts and Junagarh
fort.
Transfer to Veraval via train where you can see famous Somnath temple
on the shores of Arabian Sea.
Day 4 (Saturday) Sesangir & Dilwara
Early morning train transfer to Sesangir Lion Sancturay featuring Asian
lions.
Transfer to Dilwara temples before leaving for Palitana in the night.
Day 5 (Sunday) Palitana & Sarkhej
Sightseeing tour and trekking to 863 Jain temples of Palitana atop the
Shatrunjaya Hills.
Transfer to Sarkhej in the noon for overnight luxury bus ride to
Ahmedabad.
Day 6 (Monday) Ahmedabad
Sightseeing tour of the city including Gandhi Ashram, Calico Textile
Museum and Sidi Aayyad's Mosque.
Train leaves for Jaipur, the pink city, in the noontime.
Day 7 (Tuesday) Jaipur
Late morning arrival to Jaipur.
Elephant ride to Amer Fort.
Amber Fort - is a classic example of Rajput architecture.
Diwan-I-am, Hall of Victory and Kali temple are some of its highlights.
Sightseeing tour of Jaipur including Hawa mahal, City Palace and Jantar
Mantar.
Jaipur - The Pink City of Jaipur was founded by Sawai Raja Jai
Singh. The magnificent City Palace, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) with
its delicate screen facade, Jantar Mantar (the Royal Observatory and
multihued Jaipur Bazaar buzzing with people have all become icons of
Jaipur in themselves. The characteristic pink color has now become
protected by law and is said to symbolize 'welcome'.
Overnight transfer to Delhi via train.
Day 8 (Wednesday) Delhi
Back to Delhi Cantt in morning for departure to onward destination.
