Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Our representative will greet and receive you at the airport/railway
station and transfer you to hotel. Overnight stay will be at hotel in
Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
Delhi, the capital of India, has been the center of political and
cultural activities for long. The sightseeing tour of Delhi will explore
various cultural and historical facets of Delhi covering the Raj Ghat
(the samadhi of Gandhiji), Shanti Van (the samadhi of Nehruji), the Jama
Masjid, Red Fort and a walk through the famous Chandni Chowk. After the
lunch you will explore sites such as the Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb,
India Gate, Birla temple, Akshardham Temple, the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the
Parliament House and a drive through the Connaught place. Overnight stay
will be at hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast our representative will pick you up from the hotel and
drive you to Jaipur by road. On arrival at Jaipur you will check in at
hotel. Rest of the afternoon will be free for leisure. Overnight stay
will be at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 04: Jaipur
After breakfast at the hotel we will take you to the Amber fort
(ascending the fort on camel back). The Amber fort is one of the
magnificent monuments of Jaipur city. Lunch follows an afternoon sight
seeing tour of Jaipur.
Jaipur (the Pink City) is the capital of Rajasthan. Raja Jai
Singh founded Jaipur. Jaipur is one of the most beautiful and culturally
rich cities of Rajasthan. The city is home to numerous monuments
belonging to the medieval period. Some of these monuments at Jaipur
include the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar (observatory), Ram Niwas
Gardens, Hawa Mahal and the Nahargarh fort. Overnight stay will be at
Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur - Samode
After breakfast at the hotel you will be driven to the Samode Palace
(1hr drive). The Samode palace is a heritage hotel now. The stay at the
Samode palace heritage hotel will take you back to the days of the
Rajput Royalty and grandeur. Relax at resort and overnight stay at the
Samode palace.
Day 06: Samode - Jaipur - Agra
After exploring the royal heritage of the Rajputana it is time for you
to head for the most beautiful monument of love and romance, the Taj
Mahal at Agra. Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal, is about 5-6 hrs from
Samode. On your way to Agra you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri to have a
glimpse of some of the magnificent monuments built here during the
medieval period.
Fatehpur Sikri presents a unique blend of Hindu and Islamic
architecture. The town of Fatehpur Sikri served as the capital of the
Mughal Empire for a few years before being abandoned due to scarcity of
water. Fatehpur Sikri is a World Heritage site; some of the magnificent
buildings at Fatehpur Sikri include the Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza and
the Dargah of Sheikh Salim Chisti. On arrival at Agra you will check in
at the hotel. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Agra.
Day 07: Agra - Delhi
Welcome to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal! The city of Agra is
synonymous with the Taj Mahal ever since this edifice of love came up on
the landscape. After breakfast you will be taken for a sightseeing tour
of Agra.
A tour of the Agra city invariably starts with the visit to one
of the wonders of the world, the majestic Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal was
built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife,
Mumtaj Mahal. In addition to the Taj Mahal, Agra city boasts of other
monuments as well. Some other popular attractions at Agra are the Red
fort, the tomb of It-mad-Ud-Daulah and the tomb of Akbar at Sikandra.
After exploring the city of Agra you will be driven back to Delhi for
onward journey.
