The South African Department of Home Affairs is offering free event Visas to all those nationals wanting to witness FIFA event but finding difficulty to get visas to South Africa. The Event Visa that is valid for a maximum period of 90 days will be offered to spectators with proof of purchase of FIFA match ticket. The FIFA extravaganza will kick start from June 11-July 11 in South Africa.
The Event Visa has been introduced with a view to speed up admissions and departure clearances in all Ports of Entries during the FIFA World Cup. The FIFA event visas will be issued to travellers at various South African foreign missions after meeting the specified requirements which includes a valid travel document, proof of valid return air ticket, match ticket booking voucher and 2 identity photographs in colour.
