The Gateway Hotel, a hospitality brand of the Tata Group-promoted Indian Hotels Company (IHC), in association with Aryan Hospitality Pvt Ltd will set up a new property in Kolhapur. ‘The Gateway Hotel Kolhapur’ once operational will boast of 100 rooms and be equipped with an all day dining restaurant, a bar, banquet hall, a swimming pool , fitness centre , conferencing and meeting facilities among others.
Raymond Bickson, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Indian Hotels Company Ltd said, “Our primary strategy for The Gateway Hotels is to pave the way into untapped Tier-II cities and bring in a new class in hospitality in those cities. This constitutes all prominent economic, commercial and industrial centres. Kolhapur fits well into this strategy as it is a hub of commercial activity across critical industry sectors.”
The Gateway Hotel brand that has its presence in important business and leisure destinations such as Bangalore, Agra, Varanasi, Ahmedabad, Kochi and many other plans to operate a total of 50 operating hotels within the span of next 3 years. Besides all the hotel rooms are equipped with 24/7 services like 24/7 breakfast, business services, fitness centre, laundry and eat in (in room dining).
