India’s well-known river cruiser, The Bengal Pandaw Cruises is all set to kickstart its second tourism season from October till April. The cruise navigating through Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal will offer a 14-night/ 15-day voyage on the Ganges in 10 scheduled departures.
Vishnu Singh, Director, Pandaw Cruise India said “The Cruise for the second season is already sold out for departures in January and February; however, for the initial months of October, November and December, bookings are still available. The cruise also exposes tourists to the local culture, dance and craftsmen. Guests are also taken to major tourist attractions like the Buddhist pilgrimage spots at Bodh Gaya and Rajgir, the ruins of Nalanda and Vikramshila universities, Yoga School at Munger and more”.
For the third tourism season, the company will offer a total of 12 scheduled departures. The cruise liner operated 10 scheduled departures in its first season, since its maiden voyage in September 2009, ferrying a total of 580 overseas passengers.
The cruise is equipped with facilities like comfortable accommodation in air-conditioned, en suite cabins, gourmet meals including local mineral water, daily escorted excursions with English-speaking guides, entrance fees, and local transfers among others.
