India’s leading hospitality company, Pride Hotels promoted by SP Group is all geared up to expand its footprint in India. The group that operates 10 hotels under 3 different brands– The Pride Hotel (five-star luxury brand); Pride Biznotel (Business hotels); and Pride Resorts is planning to set up 30 properties by 2015.
Besides, Pride Hotels is also unveiling 2 more budget hotels in Hyderabad and Kochi under its ‘Pride Biznotel’ brand, at the total investment of around Rs 140 crore. "We are in the process of acquiring an acre each in these two cities for the proposed projects, and the legal due diligence is already on. We are looking at starting the construction work in the next six months and hope to complete the projects in one-and-a-half years," Satyen Jain, chief executive of Pride Hotels.
The company that boasts of properties at Pune, Nagpur, Chennai, Bangalore, Jaipur and Delhi recently unveiled its tenth property in Gurgaon. ‘Pride Park Premier’, a four star business hotel at Gurgaon targeting mainly the business segment offers luxury accommodation – Deluxe Room, Premier Rooms and Executive Rooms – with each room equipped with plasma TV, mini-bar, tea and coffee maker, direct dial phones, Wi-Fi connectivity and electronic safe and other facilities.
