Gujarat’s Luan and Ventura airlines will soon commence its flights and help the visitors easily connect to various key cities of the state. Luan Airways, a start-up regional airline from Guwahati would connect Surat with Bhuj, Rajkot and Bhavnagar initially. Ventura Airlines on the other hand, would connect Ahmedabad with Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, Bhuj and Surat.
Luan Airways will be 80-seater or less. To start with, Luan will place 2 aircraft at Surat, a 19-seater Beechcraft to connect the diamond city with Bhavnagar and Rajkot and a 50-seater aircraft for other destinations. These new flights would reduce the travel distance considerably, especially between cities like Surat and Rajkot, and Ahmadabad and Jamnagar.
