Singapore’s low-cost airline Tiger Airways will be soon flying to Thiruvananathapuram
(Trivandrum), Kerala from the month of November. The airways had recently launched new flights to yet another major South Indian city – Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) – and increased frequencies to Chennai.
Rosalynn Tay, Tiger Airways Singapore Managing Director, said, “We are pleased to bring Tiger Airways’ low-fare offering to yet another major city in south India. As the capital of Kerala state, Trivandrum is a major hub for tourism and various industries, as well as a gateway to the Maldives and Sri Lanka. With our paw prints all over south India, more travelers can take advantage of our famous low, low fares.”
The three- weekly flights will operate on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. With the addition of these 2 destinations and increased frequencies, Tiger Airways will have its presence all over South India, operating a total of 26 flights per week.
