The brand new Terminal 3 (T3) at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport equipped with world class amenities will be officially inaugurated on July 3 by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
T3, an integrated terminal for both international and domestic flights has a total capacity to accommodate up to 34 million passengers per year. The terminal will feature 98 immigration counters for international passengers, 78 aero bridges, a 100-room transit hotel, 30 food and beverage retail outlets, lounges and many more.
The terminal built to provide the highest service level and minimize the time taken in all processing areas will also have a multi-level car parking facility, the largest in India with space for 4300 cars and automated operations.T3 will be opened for international operations from July 14 and for domestic operations from July 31.
