Suraj
Water Park is situated at a distance of approximately 8 km from Thane
and 15 km from the Borivali station of Mumbai. Constructed by Muchhla
Magic Land Private Limited of India, the water park has a huge man-made
fiber cave. Measuring 103 ft. in length, this cave has been awarded the
status of the largest man-made fiber cave in the entire continent of
Asia, by the coveted Limca Book of Records. It sprawls over an area of
approximately 17 acres and is one of the most-visited amusement parks of
Bombay.
A visit to the Suraj Water Park is enough to take your mind off the
routine tensions and bring some peace to your senses. It serves as the
perfect family getaway, where parents can spend some quality time with
their kids and enjoy together. The park stands adorned with beautiful
mermaids, which greet you as you step inside. As you go further, there
will be museum of fountains. The moment you pass by it, you will get a
steamy spray of cooling water. At the entrance of the fiber cave, are
beautiful images of Natraj and Lord Shiva.
A visit to the Suraj Water Park is the perfect way to spend the day,
filled with fun and amusement. The wave pool, stimulating the waves of
sea, is a big hit amongst the kids. Just opposite to it is the Crazy
River, which imitates the speed and turbulence of an actual river. Near
it lies the Lazy River, the perfect place to relax and let yourself
float on the rubber floats, till it joins with the wave pool. The slides
at the Suraj Water Park provide you with the adrenaline rush and are
perfect for the fun-seekers.
You can enjoy the slide either on your own car or with your family, on
a rubber float. The Labak, Zabak and Matak slides are the most
adventurous of all, with their 100 ft dive that stretches on for a
length of 350 ft. Just go on from one slide to another and lose yourself
in the fun and excitement. For the children, there is Nanha Tal, a small
slide, which provides the same level of excitement. The 'Haveli'
restaurant in the Suraj Water Park, with its antique architecture and
ambience, takes you back into time. You can enjoy a delicious
traditional meal here, sitting on the conventional 'Khat'.
