Essel
World was the first amusement to be set up in Mumbai and till today, it
holds the distinction of being the city's largest amusement park. It is
situated in the outskirts of Bombay, on the Gorai Island, and is the
only international style theme park in the city. Essel World, providing
the perfect adrenaline rush, is the perfect place for those who are in

approximately 64 acres, the amusement park comprises of around 34
thrilling rides and games.These rides are meant to cater to each and every age group, be it children or youngsters or even adults. Though the park remains crowded throughout the year, it is during the school vacations that it receives the maximum rush. Students of all standards throng Essel World during the vacation time, when the closing time gets extended from the usual 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The opening time of the park is 11:00 am.
The summer season is the time for the opening of the water park, Wet World. During this time, people come to Essel World to get a relief from the humid weather of the city.
