Ratnasagar Beach Resort, the maiden hospitality venture of Shivratna Group is gearing up to increase its service offerings. The resort that has been developed on 2kms of land on Bhatye Beach, has 30 rooms currently. The Group will be adding 30 cottages, two dormitories and banquet facilities for 300 people which is expected to be completed within the next six months.
The resort has been operational since December 2009 and was developed with an investment of Rs. Ten Crore. Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has leased the beach plot to operate the resort for a period of 30 years.
Goutam Dasgupta, General Manager, Ratnasagar Beach Resort said, “We are currently gearing up the resort for MICE bookings apart from the leisure travellers who visit Ratnagiri. We are also assessing the potential for a health club and spa facility on the resort.”
Shivratna Group is also planning to expand the brand’s presence at strategic locations along the Konkan coast and Goa.
