A Malaysian company is keen to develop coastal city, Mangalore under the project titled “Mangalore City Vision 2025”. The $ 1 billion project aims to improve the city’s infrastructural facilities and unite all the tourist spots of the city. The Malaysian firm is currently in talks with the Karnataka state government regarding the project that will be developed on a PPP model (Public-Private Partnership).
The project envisions water-based and entertainment-themed investments, set up of modern tram to boost the city’s transport system and cable ropeway modes connecting 10 stations spread all over Mangalore.
