Manali, India’s major tourist attraction will be getting an ultra modern Himachal Roadways Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus stand at an estimated cost of Rs 35 crore. The bus stand that will be developed on a 1.983-hectare piece of land in the tourist town of Manali will help visitors easily connect to the various spots of Himachal Pradesh.
Mahender Singh Thakur, transport minister, Himachal Pradesh said that the 2 Volvo and 9 Tata air-conditioned buses would be added to the fleet operating on the Manali-Delhi route, while the Manali-Shimla route would get 2 new deluxe buses. Besides, the Himachal Pradesh state that currently has 11 national highways will also be getting 5 additional national highways in the near future.
