Germany’s biggest airline, Lufthansa will resume flights to the Colombian capital, Bogotá from October 31st. The airline will operate 5 non-stop flights per week between Frankfurt and Bogotá, using an A340 aircraft. Once the newly introduced service becomes operational, the carrier will offer its customers a total of 60 flights per week to 4 destinations in South America.
Axel Hilgers, Director- South Asia, Lufthansa German Airlines said, “Colombia is one of the growth regions in South America and an interesting market for our Indian customers. This winter, Bogotá will become the fourth destination in South America after Buenos Aires, São Paulo and Caracas to be served by Lufthansa.”
Bogotá, the Colombian capital is one of the most important financial hubs of Latin America. It boasts of popular tourist destinations like Celestino Mutis Botanic Garden, Maloka, La Candelaria and many others.
