Austrian Airlines, a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Passenger Airline Group has decided to add Mumbai on its network thus expanding its operations in India. The new flight services from Mumbai-Vienna will commence from October 31st and are scheduled to operate on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
The airline that already operates 5 weekly flight services to New Delhi has added an additional flight service to Vienna .The new services have been introduced after the carrier became a member of the Lufthansa Passenger Airline Group recently.
"Indian customers of Austrian, Lufthansa and Swiss in Mumbai now have the choice of availing of services to the leading hubs in Europe, Vienna, Frankfurt, Munich and Zurich, covered by the airlines of the Lufthansa Passenger Airline Group -- Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and Swiss," a statement from Austrian Airlines said.
