India-based Kamat hotels have launched a new hotel ‘Vithal Kamats’ at Fort Mahodadhi at Puri, Orissa. The hotel facing the famous Puri Beach on Beach Road is just 5 km away from the railway station.
The sprawling hotel that spreads across 3 acres has small entrance, 6 deluxe rooms, 6 suites of 500 to 700 square feet, King size 4 poster beds, neat sitting area with an extra bed facility and a modern attached toilet. The bar-cum-restaurant has 3 huge terrace spaces on each side which will soon have outdoor restaurants. One of them will serve authentic local fare and the other a Coffee shop facing the sea and promenade. The hotel plans to have a roof top restaurant and banqueting facilities in the near future.
