The state government of Jammu & Kashmir is leaving no stone unturned to make its state an independent tourist destination. The projects include constructing the cable car to connect twin heritage sites of Royal Complex Mubarak Mundi and Bahu Fort, renovation of the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex and setting up an artificial lake in River Tawi.
“The upcoming cable car project and the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex will be major prospective tourist attractions of Jammu city,” said JK’s minister for tourism and culture, Nawang Rigzin Jora.
The state tourism department besides introducing water sports at Akhnoor, Baghlihar and Pul Doda will be bringing up a world class golf course at Sidhra, which is expected to be operational within the span of next 10 months.
