Switzerland-based hotel chain, Minotel that has 200 hotels around the world, has recently appointed Switzerland Destination Marketing India (SDM) as their exclusive Indian marketing partner.
SDM will be mainly responsible for creating a sustainable distribution channel in India through the travel trade. It will also educate the Indian travel trade about the products being represented as well as Switzerland as a destination. Besides education, SDM will rely on sales calls to the Indian travel trade and encouraging bookings to Switzerland and to the represented partners. SDM will closely coordinate with the local representatives of Switzerland Tourism, the national tourist board and support them in all possible ways.
