India’s leading domestic carrier, GoAir is all set to expand its operations and is busy evaluating few sectors on pan- India basis. The airline is planning to introduce flight services to key destinations like Pune, Leh, Jammu, Imphal, Port Blair, Kolkata and Chennai. Besides expansion, the Wadia-group owned company has also placed orders for 20 A-320 aircrafts worth $ 1.2 billion in 2006 with their deliveries staggered over 2 tranches.

While the Pune flight is expected to roll out in next few months, the Leh service is expected to commence during the winter schedule which starts from October, this year.
