The world-renowned European hospitality group Accor, which manages over 4000 hotels worldwide, is ready to build a Pullman hotel in Delhi. The group has planned five Pullman hotels in Indian and Chinese region and India will house three of them. Besides Delhi, Gurgaon and Lavasa City (near Pune) will house the other two Pullmans in India.
In Delhi, the hotel will be known as 'Pullman Delhi International Airport' and will be located within 'Delhi Aerocity' precinct. This 270-room hotel will house an all-day dining restaurant. Besides it, a specialty restaurant, lounge bar and deli will also be include in this package. The signature Pullman draw 'Connectivity Lounge' will also be built there. The ‘Chill Out’ space will provide necessary entertainment to the customers. A 1000 square meter ballroom has also been planned at the Delhi Pullman hotel.
Michael Issenberg, Chairman and Chief Operating Officer - Accor Asia Pacific, said that their group wanted to see the Pullman brand making a strong foothold in the Asian continent, but the rate with which it would grow is not on their mind at present. He added that Pullman brand would cater to the needs of modern traveler without compromising on the quality. The hotel is scheduled to open in the year 2012.
