Chitradurga experiences hot, seasonally dry tropical
savanna climate, typical of most southern Karnataka regions.
Summer
The summer months of April and May are generally hot and dry. During
peak summer, temperatures hover around the 22C-38C range. As the monsoon
season sets in, seasonal rainfall results in high humidity and reduced
day temperatures.
Winter
During the winter months, the weather of Chitradurga takes a turn for
the better with temperatures taking a dip. Temperatures range from 15C
to 25C for the months of January and February.
Clothes to Wear in Chitradurga
A summer sojourn would necessitate cotton apparels while a winter trip
would require you to bring light woolens.
