Day 1: Bhubaneswar - Similipal Park
After arriving at Bhubaneswar airport, you will be received by our
representatives and escorted to the Similipal National Park. Located in
the Mayurbhanj district of Orissa, the national park is known for its
population of the endangered tiger species. After reaching there, you
will check in at the lodge and retire for the night.
Day 02: Similipal National Park
After having breakfast, you will proceed on a sightseeing tour of
Barehipani and Joranda waterfalls, two of the most magnificent
waterfalls in Orissa. The rest of the day will be spent in exploring the
park. By evening, you will come back to the lodge, have dinner and rest.
Day 03: Similipal National Park
The day will start with a jungle safari of the Similipal National Park.
If lucky, you may get to see the ‘Big Cat’ roaring in the
jungle. You will return to the lodge by evening and stay overnight.
Day 04: Similipal - Dangamal
In the morning, you will leave for Dangamal Island. For that, you will
first drive down to Chandbali, via Bhadrak. After reaching there, you
will take a motorboat cruise to reach the island. After arriving at
Dangamal, you will check in at the forest rest house and stay overnight.
Day 05: Dangamal - Bhitarkanika Sanctuary
In the morning, you will have your breakfast and then leave for
Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary. After reaching there, you will check in
at the forest lodge. This will be followed by boat rides inside the
wildlife sanctuary. You may also visit the Olive Ridley Turtle nesting
site, located on the beach stretch in Bhitarkanika. Later, you will come
back to the lodge for dinner and stay for the night.
Day 06: Bhitarkanika Sanctuary - Bhubaneswar
On the sixth day, you will head towards Bhubaneswar, the capital of
Orissa. On the way, you will make stoppages to see the Buddhist caves of
Ratnagiri, Udaigiri and Lalitagiri. After arriving at Bhubaneswar, you
will check in at the hotel and leave for an excursion to the Nandankanan
Wildlife Sanctuary. By late evening, you will come back to the hotel and
stay overnight.
Day 07: Departure from Bhubaneswar
The first half of the day will be reserved for visiting the Lingaraja
Temple, Rajarani temple and Mukteshwara Temple. By late afternoon, you
will leave for the Bhubaneswar airport, from where you will board the
plane to your destination.
