Asia Pacific’s leading luxury hotel chain, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, is all geared up to open its doors in September. The hotel which is 13 km away from the airport will have 230 guest rooms initially and when fully operational , will have 483 guestrooms and 23 serviced apartments.
The luxurious property besides providing a variety of dining options for food lovers will also have a health club, spa, swimming pool, business centre, ballroom, conference and a meeting room. The Shangri-La Hotel will be developed by Phoenix Mills Ltd (PML) located in Central Mumbai. Shishir Shrivastava, Executive Director, PML, said that the primary objective of his company is to commence the operations at the earliest.
The overall cost of the hotel project would be approximately Rs 700 crore and the average room rates at the time of launch will be more than Rs10, 000 per night.
