The Oberoi Group is gearing up to open a new Trident hotel in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) of Mumbai on December 17. Located at the heart of the new financial and commercial district of North Mumbai, the new Trident is at situated a distance of hardly 20 minutes from the airport. It is the only hotel in BKC and shares a close proximity with the leading financial institutions and pharmaceutical and IT companies.
The towering hotel has 436 guestrooms and suites, three restaurants, a sushi bar and a wine tasting room to offer. It also offers extensive meeting and conferencing facilities, with the capacity to accommodate 500 people. The recreational options in the new Trident include a swimming pool, a spa and a fitness centre.
At present, the Oberoi group operates as many as eight hotels in India, with one of them being located at Nariman Point in Mumbai. On a worldwide basis, it has 27 hotels and three cruisers, in five countries. The group is also active in flight catering, airport restaurants, travel and tour services, car rentals, project management and corporate air charters.
