Club Fresh Goa, a Mediterranean style resort, will be launched on November 13, 2009 at Morjim beach, with an investment of around Rs 6 crore. The high-end beach resort is promoted by entrepreneur Sunil Chawla and consists of tent accommodation. There will be 16 luxurious tents and a Thai and Japanese cuisine restaurant. Plans to set up a barbeque restaurant are in progress as well.
Club Fresh Goa also boasts of having a spa reflexology zone, offering relaxing foot massage treatments. The property is also expected to house Indian and international DJs, besides an art gallery within its premises. Talking about the tariff, the accommodation units will be priced at Rs 12,000 onwards per night. Plans to make the replicas of this resort in Kerala and Rajasthan are also on cards.
Mr. Chawla said that their product will be targeted at the premium segment, much similar to beach resorts in Miami, US. He added that the resort is a niche product introduced for the Indian market, as there is a huge segment of discerning clientele, who are looking for different and extraordinary experience. The property is would also target European, American and Mediterranean clientele, visiting Goa. He informed that the Club Fresh Goa Beach Resort would not be operational during monsoons.
