Kannur district, Kerala will soon be getting an Ayurveda village as the Kerala unit of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and the health department has entered into a partnership to set up the village.
Kannur is famous for many tourist destinations like Moppila Bay, Payyambalam Beach Resort, St. Angelos Fort, Gundert Bungalow, Snake Park and many others. The district is blessed with pristine natural beaches, hill stations, rivers, backwaters, historical monuments and religious centres.
"We have identified areas where we will work for turning the state into a destination for investment and the thrust areas would include IT, tourism, development of traditional industries besides infrastructure development. A master plan for cities in the state also is being planned," said S. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Director, CII.
