Japanese hotel chain JAL Hotels is all set to open 2 hotels under its luxury brand Nikko Hotels in Suzhou, China. The first hotel situated in a suburb of Suzhou will open by October and is currently under construction. The four-star hotel will feature 200 rooms.
The second, Hotel Nikko Suzhou, will be a five-star hotel in the centre of Suzhou and is slated to open in 2013. The hotel will have 29 stories and 475 rooms. It will include multiple restaurants, banquet and meeting rooms, a pool, fitness centre, spa and a business centre. Furthermore, JAL Hotels also plans to launch properties in 4 more locations, in Shanghai, Wuxi, Guangzhou and Xiamen, all before 2012.
JAL Hotels Co., Ltd currently has 58 hotels worldwide, in Europe, America, Middle East Japan and Asia/Pacific region. The company is also planning to open a 335-room Hotel Nikko Saigon in Vietnam.
