Jaipur-based Bardiya Group that is manly into real estate business will be entering the hospitality sector by opening 2 hotels in Jaipur by September 2012. The 91-room business hotel will be located at Malviya Nagar and a 225-room five-star hotel near Jaipur Airport. An estimated cost of Rs.40 crore will be spent for setting up the business hotel and for the five star property, Rs. 250 crore will be invested.
Gaurav Bardiya, Director, Bardiya Group said, “The business hotel will target corporates, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) and business travellers, whereas the five-star hotel will target leisure, corporates, MICE and business travelllers. Plans are afoot to open a golf course, resort and convention centre in Jaipur.”
Once the management partners are finalized, the construction of the hotels will begin. Jaipur is a hot tourist spot with the influx of many foreign tourists and an international management company will be better equipped to understand the needs of the guests
