The Gujarat government considering the state’s fast-growing civil aviation sector has now set up a Gujarat State Aviation Company (GUJSAC) to build infrastructure and provide trained manpower.
GUJSAC that will operate as an autonomous enterprise will study and finalize proposals from private players in a wide area, including constructing airport terminals, air strips, hangars, helipads, flying and gliding clubs and aero sports facilities. It will also look into proposals to train pilots, ground engineers and other personnel.
Meanwhile, the Gujarat state government has roped in two private airlines, Luan Airways and Ventura, which will soon commence its flights and help visitors easily connect to various key cities of the state.
