Dubai-based low cost carrier, Flydubai will be launching flights from Dubai to Lucknow from June 2. The thrice-weekly Dubai-Lucknow service will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It will depart from Dubai at 20:30 hrs local time and arrive in Lucknow at 01:50 hrs local time the next day. The return flight will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, departing at 02:35 hrs local time and arriving in Dubai at 05:20 hrs.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO, Flydubai said, “India represents an important market for Flydubai and we are delighted that the cooperation between Flydubai and the Indian authorities has resulted in the opportunity for Dubai's first LCC to bring our service to Lucknow. An estimated five million Indian expatriates live and work in the Gulf, with around one million in the UAE alone. This represents a huge number of people who need to travel between our two nations and we look forward to complementing the services offered by the existing carriers on the Dubai-India routes.”
