Marriott International, the worldwide operator and franchisor of a broad portfolio of hotels and related lodging facilities recently announced that one of its newly signed properties, the JW Marriott Hotel New Delhi, at the International Airport, will be operational by 2012.
JW Marriott Hotel New Delhi will have 510 rooms equipped with modern amenities like
plush bed and bath amenities, 3 restaurants, a lively entertainment lounge, an inviting lobby bar , a pool bar, a signature Spa , an outdoor swimming pool , a meeting room , a full business center with 6 workstations among others.
Rajeev Menon, vice president – India, Malaysia, Maldives and Pakistan said, “Delhi has been witnessing unprecedented growth in its travel and tourism industry and Marriott International is proud to be part of this upswing. By 2013, Marriott International will open 40 properties in India. We want to give Indian and foreign travellers a first class experience each time they stay with us.”
The other newly signed properties of the group off late include the 250-room upscale Bengaluru Marriott Whitefield Hotel, the 365-room Jaipur Marriott Hotel, and the 200-room Courtyard by Marriott Hotel Hyderabad Hitec City.
