The Bihar State government sponsored ‘Bihar Foundation’ will soon launch a comprehensive website ‘Unbelievable Bihar’ to reflect the changing faces of the state as well as its cultural heritage and glorious past. The website, with an aim to promote Bihar, is being prepared on the similar lines of ‘Incredible India’ and ‘Vibrant Gujarat’.
The website would contain all the vital details about Bihar right from its identity, folk songs, tourism, art and culture, delicious food to the government’s initiatives for industrial development in the recent years.
“We have also decided to seek the help of the artists of the state in the launch of the website,” said Satyajit Narain Singh, spokesperson of Bihar foundation, adding that the information would be provided through pictures, video films and articles.
The famous folk dance of Bihar like Sama Chakewa and Dom Kuch, Patna’s Golghar, Kakolat’s water fall, Nawada’s Kundle van (forest), famous personalities of the state, places of historical importance like World Peace Pagoda at Vaishali and many other things would find a place in the website. There would be a space for the viewers to send their views on the articles and pictures through e-mail. Before the launch of the website, the Bihar Foundation has decided to create awareness among the people through hoarding, posters, banners, films and other means of advertisement.
