Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
You will arrive at Delhi International airport. Our representatives
will assist you in check in to the hotel. Post-lunch, you will be
visiting Red Fort, Chandini Chowk, Jama Masjid and memorials to Mahatma
Gandhi and Nehru. You will return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi - Khajuraho
Today you will move soon after breakfast to see Qutub Minar, folloyoud
by Lotus Temple, Humayun's Tomb and Akshardham Temple. In the evening,
you will be catching your flight for Khajuraho. Arrive in Khajuraho and
check in to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Khajuraho Sightseeing
You will go to Khajuraho temples today, after breakfast. You will be
exploring all the three groups of temples here, known for their exotic
architectural beauty. After visiting these exotic temples you will
return to our hotel room for overnight stay.
Day 04: Khajuraho - Jhansi
Leave Khajuraho for Jhansi soon after breakfast. The place, once the
flourishing capital of the Bundela Rajputs, has an excellent palace and
numerous temples. These medieval era architectural erections are worth
seeing. After visiting these, you will check in to our hotel, have
dinner and stay overnight.
Day 05: Jhansi - Datia - Sonagiri - Gwalior
Today, you will leave Jhansi for Gwalior. Enroute, you will be taken to
the seven-storey palace of Raja Bir Singh, built atop a hill in Datia.
Also, you will visit Sonagiri, which has a 10th century Jain temple. You
will arrive in Gwalior by evening and check in to the hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 06: Gwalior Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will be taken to Gwalior Fort Complex, which
houses Man Mandir, Suraj Kund, Sas Bahu Temples, etc. Post-lunch, you
will visit the Rani Jhansi memorials and the tombs of Tansen and Ghaus
Mohammed. By evening, you will come back to the hotel room for overnight
stay.
Day 07: Gwalior - Bhopal
Today, you will leave Gwalior for Bhopal. You will arrive in Bhopal and
check in to the hotel. After freshening up, you will visit for Sanchi,
near to capital city of Bhopal. Sanchi is popular for its stupa, which
was built during the reign of Ashoka. Other than the Stupa, the place
has chaityas and monasteries. By late evening, you will come back to the
hotel room for overnight stay.
Day 08: Bhopal Sightseeing
You will leave your hotel room, early in the morning, to visit
Bhimbetka caves. Enroute, you will visit Bhojpur where you can see
temples of Shiva and a 20 feet statue of Mahavir Jain. After coming back
to Bhopal, you will visit Laxmi Narayan Temple, Taj-ul Masjid, Shaukat
Mahal and Sadar Manzil. Night stay will be in the hotel.
Day 09: Bhopal - Ujjain
Early in the morning, you leave Bhopal for Ujjain. There, you will
check in to the hotel and freshen up. Following this, you will leave on
a sightseeing tour of the city and visit Mahakaleshwar Temple, Bade
Ganeshji Ka Mandir, Harsiddhi Temple and Gadkalika Temple. Night stay
will be in the hotel.
Day 10: Ujjain - Ahmedabad
After visiting Kaliadeh Palace, you will leave for Ahmedabad. After
reaching there, by late evening, you will check into the hotel and
retire for the night.
Day 11: Ahmedabad Sightseeing
The entire day will be spent in undertaking a sightseeing tour of
Ahmedabad. You will be visiting Akshardham Temple, Sidi Sayed Mosque,
Cambay, Gandhi Ashram, Hatheesing Jain Temple, Jama Masjid and Kankaria
Lake. Night stay will be in the hotel.
Day 12: Ahmedabad - Rajkot
In the morning, you will leave Ahmedabad for Rajkot. After reaching
there, you will check into the hotel and leave on a short sightseeing
tour of the city. You will be visiting Kaba Gandhi No Delo, Watson
Museum and Library, and Jagat Mandir. Night stay will be in the hotel.
Day 13: Rajkot - Mumbai
In morning, after breakfast you will visit Aji Dam and Wankaner Palace.
By afternoon, you will leave Rajkot for Mumbai, by air. At the Mumbai
airport, our representatives will assist you in catching the flight back
home.
