In the afternoon, go on excursion to neighboring places. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 03 Kumarakom/Houseboat (Alleppey)
Enjoy your breakfast in morning and board a houseboat for sightseeing and cruises to Alleppey. Keep exploring the backwaters by the houseboat throughout the day. Overnight will be at houseboat. (Relish the traditional Kerala food on the houseboat). The houseboats (called Kettuvallams locally) are giant country boats, measuring up to 80 feet in length. It takes great skill and perfectionism to construct these giant houseboats by tying huge planks of jack wood together, without the use of a single nail. These houseboats usually have one or two bathrooms, an open lounge, deck, kitchenette and a crew comprising oarsmen, a cook and guide.
Day 04: Alleppey
Your interaction with backwaters of Kerala comes to an end and you head back home with sweet memories of your Kerala tour. Transfer to airport/railway station to your onward destination.
