Summers
The summer season in the city stretches during the period of April to
June. During this period, the climate of New Delhi experiences extremely
hot conditions. The maximum temperature in summers hovers somewhere
around 45 deg C.
Monsoon
In the month of July, Monsoon season starts and the city is blessed
with rains that give a respite from the scorching heat. The monsoons
stretch on till August, when the spell of humidity comes to an end.
Winters
The winter season in Delhi starts around the month of October/November.
The coldest period during the entire winter season is from New Year to
the 1st half of January. The temperature in the winter season may dip to
as low as 3 deg C. There is also some rainfall in the city in winters.
