The summer season lasts till the end of June, after which monsoon sets in. the period from July to September is marked by heavy downpour. Thereafter, temperature cools down. In winters, mercury drops to the zero degree mark. Cold and chill atmosphere characterizes the winter season. Usually, November to February witnesses absolute chillness. Ideally, the period from March to June and October to November is the best time to visit the place.
