If you wish to use air services, Pantnagar Airport is the nearest domestic airport which is well-connected to Delhi by flight. From here, Sattal is about 73kms and can be reached by boarding buses or hiring cabs. Delhi Airport is the nearest international airport, about 320 km away from Sattal. Taxis can be availed on hire from Delhi to reach Sat Tal.
By Train
Kathgodam Railway Station, which is approx. 36 km away from Sat Tal, is the nearest railhead. This railhead is connected to Delhi and from here; you can board taxis to reach Sat Tal.
By Road
Sat Tal is well-connected with all the major cities like Ramgarh, Nainital, etc, of the state via road. If you are driving from Delhi, you have to head on NH24 to Rampur via Jindal Nagar, Pilkhua, Hapur Bypass, Simbaholi, Gajraula, Joya, Pakwara and Moradabad Bypass; NH87 to Ranibagh via Bilaspur, Rudrapur, Haldwani and Kathgodam; state highway to Bhimtal; state road to Sattal via Mehragaon. From Anand Vihar ISBT and Kashmere Gate ISBT, regular bus services are available for Nainital.
