Span Communication has once again won the bid for Incredible India's international campaign,run by the Tourism Ministry of India. As a part of the new mandate, it will be responsible for handling the campaign in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The results of America and Europe are expected to come in two days. Sources have disclosed that the overall business size of these international campaigns exceeds Rs.150 crore. The Asia Pacific part of the campaign (APAC part) is very important, considering the extent of overall business.
With a feeling of excitement, Naresh Kheterpal, CEO - Span Communication, while commenting on the win, said that the Incredible India campaign is a very prestigious event of Indian Government and the company was proud to have bagged a part of it. As per him, the campaign is expected to start within the next 10 days. Here, the fact can be revisited that Span Communication had also bagged a part of Incredible India's domestic and international campaigns in 2007 and 2008.
Every year, the Indian Ministry of Tourism calls bids for the international part of Incredible India campaign, focusing on America, Europe and Asia Pacific region (APAC). This year, bid for the campaign started in the month of July and many leading agencies participated in it. Euro RSCG, RK Swamy BBDO, Zenith Optimedia, Dentsu, Crayons, Mindshare and Percept were a few of them. It remains to be seen as to who has bagged the other two parts of the campaign.
