Inking its third property deal down south, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, the Indian hotel management company, is all set to launch a new hotel, branded as Vasundhara Sarovar Premiere, in Kerala by 2010. The two other properties resting with the company in the state are Gokulam Park (Kochi) and The Muthhoot Plaza (Thiruvananthapuram). Vasu Coco Resorts Pvt. Ltd will partner with Sarovar Hotels & Resorts in their new venture.
Located at a close proximity of the Vembanad Lake, Vasundhara Sarovar Premier is spread over more than eight acres of land. The full service five-star resort is at a close range, of 63 km, from the Kochi Airport and also falls near the national highway. It has 50 rooms and an accommodation capacity of 100 people. The F & B facilities offered by the resort will feature a restaurant and bar.
The leisure facilities at Vasundhara Sarovar Premiere include a spa, health club, children’s play area and theme walks. As per Anil Madhok, Managing Director of Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, the corporate and leisure market in South India is growing and demand for quality accommodation is on the rise, thus providing opportunities to many new hotels. The resort also plans to cater to the conferencing segment.
