Finland’s national carrier, Finnair airlines will be adopting various strategies to strengthen its presence in the Indian market. Besides, the airline will also expand its operations to Chennai and Bengaluru next year and is going to increase its operations on the Delhi-Helsinki route from 6 days a week to daily services.
Furthermore, the airline is considering reinstating its Mumbai- Helinski flight by end of this year and is likely to start 3 flights a week initially and later increase the frequency depending on the demand. Last year, Finnair airlines serviced 1.16 million passengers to and from Asia which was the highest source of revenue for the airline.
