Emirates Airline has come up with ‘Dubai Al- Medinah Al -Munawarrah Summer Service, a new temporary service to help travellers easily connect to popular destinations in Australia, Far East and parts of Europe. The airline will offer flights to Al Medinah al Munawarrah, a religious destination in Saudi Arabia throughout the summer months. The service that will be operational until 24th September will use Airbus A330-200 aircraft with a three-class configuration: 12 First Class seats, 42 Business Class seats and 183 Economy Class seats.
There will be 2 flights a week starting from 2nd July in order to cater to the increased demand during this season. The flights will depart Dubai on Friday and Sunday at each at 0115 hours and will arrive in Al -Medinah al- Munawarrah at 0300 hours. On the return journey the flight will depart Al- Medinah a-l Munawarrah at 0435 hours, arriving in Dubai at 0815 hours.
“This new, limited time, service means that Emirates will have four gateways into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia across the peak summer holiday, ensuring we are able to sufficiently service the thousands of people travelling to and from the country,” said Ahmed Khoory, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, Gulf, Middle East and Iran Emirates Airline.
