East Coast Railways (ECoR), one of the 16 zones of Indian railways (IR) in order to cope with the summer traffic, will run 13 special trains between Bhubaneswar-Tirupati-Guntur. While, the Bhubaneswar-Tirupati special train will leave Bhubaneswar on Saturdays on August 14, 21, 28 and September 4, 11, 18 and arrive Tirupati the very next day, the Tirupati-Bhubaneswar special train will depart Tirupati on August 15, 22, 29 and September 5, 12, and 19 and arrive Bhubaneswar , the following day.
These trains that would halt at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Brahmapur, Palasa, Vizianagaram,Visakhapatnam and Duvvada would contain 1 AC-2tier, 1
AC–3tier, 2 general coaches, 2 guard cum luggage vans and several sleeper coaches. ECoR with its headquarters in Bhubaneswar, Orissa extends over 3 states encompassing almost all parts of Orissa along with parts of Srikakulam, Vizainagaram and Visakhapatnam districts of North Eastern Andhra Pradesh, and Bastar and Dantewada districts of Chhatisgarh State.
Some of the railway lines that operates under East Coast Railway are Duvvada-Bhadrak Broad Gauge Double line, Kothavalasa-Kirandul Broad Gauge Single line, Vizianagaram-Raipur Broad Gauge Double line, Cuttack-Angul Broad Gauge line among others.
