The Delhi Municipal Corporation will soon launch 5 double-decker buses in the New Delhi catering exclusively for the tourists coming to watch the Common Wealth Games (CWG) to be held in New Delhi in the month of October.
The 5 buses will have an open top and a restaurant on the lower deck in which different cuisines will be offered to the international tourists. The route for the buses will be designed like a heritage walk, involving a visit to the prominent historical monuments in the city.
The bus service will be of international standards where two by two seating arrangements will be made on the buses with a table. On boarding the bus, the tourists will be able to book national, international flight or train tickets. However, the ticket prices of the buses are not yet decided.
